Employee Life and AD&D Insurance Plans


       With Life & AD&D insurance employees gain peace of mind. MAGUS finds the best national carriers and works to bring flexible and affordable plans to employees. Each client provides the core coverage and then employees add additional coverage appropriate to their needs.

The result is a more productive work force free from worries.


 Term Life, Voluntary Life and AD&D Insurance

     Term Life Insurance and AD&D is provided for all regular full-time employees (30+hr/wk) through Mutual of Omaha. The Magus basic plan provides $10,000 life and AD&D insurance for every employee.

Each employee may supplement their coverage through the Voluntary Life & AD&D program. Employees are eligible to purchase up to $50,000 of life insurance with this initial amount guaranteed issue. Additional amounts up to 5 times the employee's income (not to exceed $250,000) can be purchased after underwriting review. Spouse and children may also participate in these plans but in smaller amounts & increments. Additional AD& D coverage may be purchased as well.

Medical & Dental Insurance Plans

  • Health Insurance Plans - Medical insurance coverage is provided for all regular full-time employees (30+ hrs./wk) after a 60 day waiting period. Medical coverage includes: vision, prescription, mail service prescription drug program, mental health, drug & alcohol rehabilitation and alternative care.

  • Dental Insurance Plans - Dental insurance coverage is provided for all regular full-time employees (30+ hrs/wk) after a 60 day waiting period.


  • Benefit Programs for Employees

  • 401k Pension Plans - A 401(k) Pension Plan is provided for all employees of participating groups who have been on the payroll at least three months.

  • Section 125 Flexible Spending Plans - A Section 125 Flexible Spending Plan is provided for all regular full-time employees (30+hrs/wk) after a 60 day waiting period.

  • Paid Leave, Holidays & Vacation Time - Minimum levels of paid time off are set by Magus and clients may define additional time appropriate to their needs and industry.

  • Other Perks & Benefits - Some additional benefits are Price Costco cards, free checking and savings accounts, credit union memberships and more.
